Some of you got your last haircut at a cut rate, in and out place. Others may go to a local hair cutting salon or barber shop establishment. The rate of your monthly visit may range from $10 to $200.
I know that I am writing to both men and women. Each sex has different needs when it comes to hair care. Some of you need style, color and curls to make you look better.
The bottom-line is we need to look good when we go out in public. It can make a big difference when it comes to getting a job, or impressing that special person whom you want to get their attention.
I have gone to cut rate hair cutting joints. Each time I went I got a different person to cut my hair. Each one would cut it in a little bit different way. Beard trims were extra. They would always try to sell me some special shampoo, or hair grease, that I needed. I always paid the shops rate plus a $2 tip.
Now when I went to a local barber shop. I got the same person every time. After a couple of visits, my hair was cut the same way every time. I knew the barber by first name, and he would call me by my first name. If I happen to mention that I had a special meeting or event that I was going to, he would trim my beard for free.
My conclusion: I do save money by going to a local barber. That way the same person cuts my hair every month. I get a personalized haircut, and when I need some little extra I get it.
