		<description><![CDATA[Years ago, I heard this preacher say, &#8220;Blessed are the flexible, for they can be bent.&#8221; Since then I have found this to be very true,  over and over again. It does not matter if is in my personal life or in business. National inflation rate can rise or fall. The only number that makes a difference in our life is inflation or deflation rate in our personal life. It slides up and down as our personal needs change. &#8220;Isn&#8217;t my personal budget suppose to stay the same&#8221;, you might ask. Shouldn&#8217;t our budget give us some sort of predictably to our finances. Isn&#8217;t good financial planning suppose to give a level of security even for those unexpected things. I agree that a well crafted budget is to get us level of financial security. However, that budget will have changes that affect it. Those changes will take place as certain living conditions and situations take place. Children Growing Up - The budgeted cost for diapers changes into the budget cost for school supplies and clothes. Later years there will be a need to add a son or daughter on the car insurance. We must not forget all those little extras for choir, day care, and what ever our [...]]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[Remember the old saying, about death and taxes. This is the time of the year where some people talk like it is a near death experience. Maybe that is why some people wait until the very last minute and mail out their income tax filing just before midnight on April 15th. Over the years I have struggled with doing my yearly obligation. I have set down with a W2 form, a couple of 1099&#8242;s, a calculator, and a pile of tax forms.  One year, I took a box full of receipts and invoices into my accountant and set it on his desk. A week later I went back with my checkbook in hand. There I wrote him a heft check, along with a small one to the federal government and a modest one to the state government. Since then I have learn a lot.  Thanks to technology and the desktop computer doing my taxes has become less stressful as well as less expensive to get done. That is why most years I do it my self.
