As you can tell for the post this week, we went grocery shopping this past weekend. We do this twice a month to stock up on food and other necessities.
I hate, with a passion, to waste food, cleaning supplies or anything. When it comes to judging how many of anything we will use in a 2 week period can be quite difficult. Even after all these years.
Potatoes don’t go bad that quick. However, I have to spend more money than I want on a pound of potatoes. This past weekend, I observed that bags of Idaho potatoes cost:
- 5 pound bag was 1.28 = 25.6 cents per pound
- 10 pound bag was 1.98 = 19.8 cents per pound
- 15 pound bag was 2.48 = 16.6 cents per pound
