Since we took on Coupons.com as a sponsor, we look over the those coupons, as part of our meal planning process, before we go grocery shopping. Our daughter has been bugging us for some treat. She saw a coupon for Lucky Charms, then like any child starting asking for them.
Normally we would not get the name brand cereal. We would opt to the lesser priced generic version. But she had been the good girl the last week. We felt she had deserve a treat. So we put it on the grocery list. Then print out that coupon.
The coupon was only 50 cents off on a 16 ounce box of Lucky Charms which sold for $2.88. That brought the Lucky Charms close to the same price as the generic brand.
That is one way we use Coupons.com to save us money, while treating ourselves at the same time.
