Mother’s Day is just around the corner. In fact it is less than on week away. In this week I will start to panic as to what to get the Mother of my daughter.
In years past, I have gotten myself in trouble over some of the Mother’s Day presents I have given. Practical things like the microwave oven did not over very well. Then there was the time we went out to dinner. It ended in disaster when she got sick and I had to take her to the hospital.
This year like most every year, I start to shake and get all nervous trying to find the best possible Mother’s Day gift. When in the back of my mind I see myself getting it all wrong.
Flowers, cards, and candy are the traditional Mother’s Day gift. I don’t like giving the traditional gifts. I personally see them as saying, “I don’t care or have the imagination to find what you really like so I am just going to give you flowers and candy”.
Tomorrow is one of the biggest days of the year. It is devoted to the women who give birth, nurture, guide and help us all become productive members of society.
Mothers are known by the way they care. Their passions for their off spring will rise to the surface at a moments notice, or even when she sense that something is not right with one of her own.
Daily she struggles to make due with what she has in hand. Then when one of her little ones are sick, she will spare no expense to get them the best possible medical help. Now you put a group of moms together, you will have a very powerful force, that no army on this earth dares to go against.

It is getting close. Don’t panic! Mother’s Day is just a little over a week away. May 9th is the day we celebrate the important role mother’s have in our lives. They often go unappreciated all year long. That is why we take one day out of the year to show them that we appreciate all that they do for us.
