Plastic or Plastic Food Container

Every time my wife and I would go shopping we would be buying at least 1 box of freezer bags. Then there was the sandwich bags for lunches. In my mind this was a waste of money and harm to our green earth.One gallon freezer bag is 9 cents. A plastic reusable 8 cup reusable food container 68 cents each. That means if I reuse the 8 cup container 8 times I make for a greener earth and save 4 cents per container.
Note: There is 16 US cups to 1 US gallon. I have never been able to comfortably put a full gallon of product in a plastic bag.
